I undertook the challenge of replacing the battery in an iPod Nano 5g. This was more difficult than I had even envisioned, so it is not recommended for anyone other than advanced repair personnel with sharp eyes and steady hands. This does NOT cover every single detail of the disassembly, replacement and reassembly of the iPod, and you may not be able to see every detail due to the placement of the cameras and my hands being in the way. I assume that if you are going to attempt to replace an iPod battery, you already know what you are doing. For academic and entertainment purposes only. I assume no responsibility for the accuracy of this information and you should also assume that you will void any warranty on a product you choose to attempt to repair. In other words, when all is said and done, you might be better off to have a "qualified" repair person do the job. Good luck!
