It should hold its charge more than 2 weeks even if it is being used.

In the end the sad Ipod screen was because the Iflash adaptor had been pulled out by the big battery. Replugging the iflash inside fixed it in a second. this was due to the misplaced padding on the board preventing the battery from being there.
