To enter to win the custom iPod, become a DTG member (any tier) at http://www.patreon.com/diggingthegreats

The winner will be picked randomly and announced on a livestream on Saturday, August 17th.

I just wrapped up the 4 part iPod series, which included a short segment of me modding my iPod, but today I'm showing you a little more about the process, what went into it, how many I made, and how you can win one yourself.

MATERIALS
None of this is sponsored, this is just what I used:

All iPod parts were ordered from Elite Obselete Electronics at www.eoe.works

The backplate was ordered from Ali Express and engraved at Vanguard Audio Labs https://www.vanguardaudiolabs.com/

I also used a toolkit and magnetic repair mat from iFixit, and installed Rockbox (www.rockbox.org) which is the custom software.

And here's the video tutorial I followed along with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TukXnQT-Ieo&t=1742s
