Hey guys, welcome back to another repair video! ????

Today I’m replacing the battery in an iPod nano 5th Generation. This is considered one of the more difficult iPod battery replacements because the device is extremely compact and getting everything apart and back together requires a lot of care.

In this video, I’ll show the complete repair process, including:

???? Disassembling the iPod nano 5G
???? Removing the old battery
⚡ Installing and soldering a replacement battery
????️ Removing and reinstalling the display
???? Removing and reinstalling the Click Wheel
???? Checking the camera after repair
???? Testing the buttons and Click Wheel
???? Testing charging and battery operation
???? Cleaning and reassembling the device
✅ Final testing after the battery replacement

I also compare it with some of my other iPod nano repairs, including the iPod nano 2G, 4G and 7G.

The iPod nano 5G is still a really interesting little device, especially for collectors and retro-tech fans. ❤️

⚠️ Important: Lithium-ion batteries can be dangerous if punctured, shorted, overheated, or damaged. Do not attempt this repair unless you have the proper tools and experience. A swollen battery should be handled with extreme caution and disposed of properly.
