ASMR iPod upgrading. My original iPod was 30gb, needed to upgrade to fit some more albums on it. I think 512gb of storage is enough for me at the moment. I'll upgrade if i need more. Replaced the original battery with a 3000mAh battery and replaced the hard-drive with a iFlash quad.

Just me, but not in the shed because it's cold and dark out there. With my iPods.
I have thrown a motley collection of SD cards into an iFlash quad and it looks like it's worked, but not quite. The capacity on the cards doesn't match the capacity announced, though that is a reasoanbly healthy 466GB.
I have slotted the card into a 5th gen ipod video I found down the side of my chair, and then packed it with songs I like using drag and drop from MusicBee.
It hasn't qiite worked though, so tune in and share my frustration.
Since recording I have swapped out one of the cards and I am about to restore the ipod. If it works I will then restore Rockbox because there is something fishy going on there. And then I will put the music bavck on. And if all else fails I have just acquired a similar ipod in a bundle, so I am hoping to fashion at least one working Ipod from the pair of the.
I stuck some captions on using ClipChimp or whatever it is that Microsft bundle, but it crashed hal way through and I don't have the time or energy to go back to it. Ad look at me writing the nottes instaed of asking AI to do it!
PS I have scammed myself into allowing CapCut to take money off me and I need to stop this happeneing. Any advice gratefully recieved.

After a long time another restoration video. This time I finally landed an iPod classic for a low price. The front panel cracked and battery weak. I decided to go with this transparent green panel and it turned out really nice.

As in almost every video I made - it is my first time doing this. I learn as I go and you can see me watching other tutorials as I work. I do this as a proof that every one with a little bit of knowledge can do it. And a lot more!

I decided not to add any music this time, as I found it really calming editing this in silence. Also that you can choose your own music to pump while watching this video to match your taste!

Today we build the ULTIMATE iPod Classic 5th generation, specifically the iPod 5.5 enhanced model. And hey, if we're going to do this, let's do this right- blue is a pretty nice color.

Can an iconic device from the early 2000s stand the test of time? This apple ipod was found second hand at a savers op-shop. This thrift find was being sold as "parts only". We are going to find out if it was tested, and if it was not, does it still work, hold charge and have any music on it. These fifth generation i-pods had mechanical HDD's, so a lot of the the time the hard drive stopped working. hopefully this old mp3 media play still has some life left in it.

Welcome back to my shed and my ipods. Today I’m "diving into" (talking about) my special 5th Generation iPod Video, fully loaded with Rockbox themes and showcasing a Bluetooth 30-pin adapter. This iPod originally came in black, but I’ve given it a complete makeover in support of Dave McNabb’s Blue and White Army. The result? A truly unique “Blue and White Shakers” style iPod that not only looks sharp but also delivers a ton of nostalgia and modern usability. But you don't have to love non-league footbal with a beer in your hand to enjoy this one. Fat ipods are the best real estate - roomy and spacious!

I wax lyrical about the 30-pin Bluetooth adapter, which transforms this classic iPod into a wireless music player that works perfectly with today’s Bluetooth speakers. I’ll show you how smooth the playback experience is and why this adapter makes such a huge difference for vintage Apple fans. Or something like that.

This iPod is packed with every Gen 5 Rockbox theme you could want, because I originally wanted to use it to evaluate Rockbox themes (which might be a project for another day) but I have to give a special shoutout to the Adwaiatpod Dark theme and its developer – it’s hands down my favorite.
