We’re going to give new life to a 4th Gen iPod by replacing the battery and changing out the hard drive for an SSD. Why? Well, the Solid State Drive is lighter, faster, and it won't skip with vibration--not to mention it’ll work really well with that new battery by giving it extended life!

i bought a custom ipod classic 5th generation a year ago. clear frontplate, 128gb sd card mod, stock apple firmware. i still use youtube music every day. so was spending 250 bucks on a 20 year old mp3 player actually worth it? this is the honest answer after 365 days of carrying it around.
